Bruce grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, less than two miles from Washington, D.C. His proximity to the University of Maryland made him a lifetime Terp supporter, even after moving to Chapel Hill, North Carolina as an adult. During his free time, Bruce enjoys being with his wife and four children, and walking his dogs Nate and Lea. He recently published his first novel.
